This is my pneumatic can crusher that will accommodate tall boy style cans or smaller and is very fun to use. It only takes a small amount of 3/4" plywood and the hopper can be made how ever you like. (Doesn't have to have lexan window)
The pneumatic parts are detailed in my free plans on my website if interested.

My two special helpers are girls, and now all grown up. The older one works for NASA and the younger is a marine scientist. High quality components. I used two button valves so you can't have one hand in the way - less convenient but a lot safer. Oh yes, I'm a certificate bearing EPA Safety fascist. :-) i used birch hardwood instead of plywood. great job, dude.

@mijosimp

Question about the build. I bought a cylinder off ebay to build one of these and it says 1/4" on the fitting plugs. The cylinder you show in the plans from Princess Auto also says 1/4" for the fittings but the airline delivery kit says 3/8ths" in your plans. Is the 3/8ths" kit you show the correct one because they are maybe referring to inside or outside dimensions in either case? Princess auto has a 48 piece 3/8ths kit now for $43. instead of the 49 piece you got on clearance 2 years ago.

I have a background in automation so given enough money i could make it do anything. The main reason for not being automatic however is that the air line is only connected when the hopper is full as it runs through the middle of my shop and if it were always connected it would be a nuisance
