And here it is the grand finale of the Jim Kay inspired dragon egg DIY 🤩 I am so happy with how these turned out, hope you guys like them as much as I do.
The black acrylic wash is super easy to make and the quantities will depend on what your end result should be. So all it is is black acrylic paint mixed with water 🖤
The amount of black paint you add will either make your wash darker or lighter. Test your wash on a piece of paper before using it for the first time. AND if you store your leftover wash like I do, remember to shake/ stir it before using it the next time.
The paint sediments sink to the bottom which will make your wash an uneven consistency. You can make a wash any colour you want. Black and dark brown are just the 2 you’ll use most.
Light colours aren’t great for washes as they don’t really do much. If you have more questions, leave a comment down below ☺️
