What a wonderful pontoon. Dad built one back in the 50's out of 5 gallon drums. It was about 4' square, we loved it.

Daddy...daddy..daddy hahaha. Hubby and I are watching this on our tv so I hopped on my phone to say...My boys are all grown but they LOVED working with their dad and you are just like him. You teach Huston and dont even know hes being taught, like using the chalk line, . My husband is a business man that hunts, fishes and builds hot rods. All with our 3 sons and they loved it and are very close to us. We have been married almost 40 years and raised 3 great boys. I love your videos because REAL good fathers and family men are refreshing. Thank you for all you post. God Bless...good job Huston!!!!

Hey Daniel one thing I have to say you have gifted hands. DIY kit can be fun and a challenge but you put it together and it looks great. Of course Huston had a helping hand in it😉. She looks good on the water and its so nice to see father and son doing things together like building a boat and fishing, this will build a forever bond with you two. Now that you have the real nice boat with all those lights on it you should go night fishing for crappie. We have floating lights that we place along side of the boat that bring the shad in,the shad bring in the crappie. Once you get them around the boat you will have a lot of fun, we had so many bits that we all had two poles in the water and had to go to one pole because the fish were biting so fast you couldn’t get them off your hook before you had one on your other pole. It’s was nuts, we ended up with over 80 fish between the three of us in lease than four hours it does take a little bit to get the fish to come in but after they do you will have a boat full of fish. Thank you for showing this video about this boat it would be great here on our lakes but being a women I would have to have one on a trailer cuz I could move it. Gd bless and stay safe.

7 year old might not be required however when you can work with your little ones building something, building life lessons, then building memories that’s the best. My 2 year old been helping me and learn since he could walk. He might not be able to read that well or count to 20 yet but he knows a 10mm socket or 21mm wrench, left to tighten or right to loosen. How to run a 1/2” impact changing tires, use a floor jack. When both my little man and his mama are with me building and do stuff I am my happiest. Fun little project and great video

Beautiful Pond, and a few years and bass will get bigger and add more stock and keep it going. 8 years, and It will be an Awesome spot to fish! Houston will grow up and as a late teen will be bringing them in!

Awesome pontoon. You should have used your lithium drill with a 3/8 socket bit with a socket to tighten the bolts for the rails and pontoons. It would have cut your time tightening them by more than half. Poor Bella! Maybe next time. Enjoy the pontoon!

How cool is this, I think I'd spend way to much time on it, what a good idea small enough to handle and can go everywhere in your pond even shallows. What's up with the 41 dislikes ,what's not to like? I fished a lot with my dad and grandfather, all good memories.

That was so cool. Freaking awesome!!!. A boat in a box. I'd get one of those even if all I had was a big swimming pool. Just float around the pool with a big umbrella on it, a pitcher of margaritas and just chill. 👍

Many times you guys remind me of some of my favorite Bill Dance videos. I got to meet Bill in person way back in the early 1980's. I even got to fish with him, only one time, over at Bull Shoals Lake in Arkansas. At the time, I had no camera, therefore no pictures or video (sorry). Bill's crew didn't shoot video that time either, but he probably at least has some pictures. Bill Dance has been and still is one of my very favorite outdoor persons. Of course, I still love Jimmy Houston as well and many others. I must also say, who couldn't love Arms Family Homestead! I love your channel. Great job guys. Take care and God Bless.

Just about anything comes in a box nowadays! 🤣 several years ago, we bought a "Spa in a Box" it was a cinch to put together. I'm sure the Pond King boat was more complicated but it looks doable with a few strong arms. Great job Daniel, Houston & it looks like Weston helped a little. I got a quick glimpse of that bass that got away. He's a monster. That was funny when Houston took a little dip. He's a good sport. Love y'all! Keep the great videos coming! Love from Ga. 💕

A fun video, a step by step set up was interesting, never paid much attention to fishing stuff, my bro.'s hunted and trapped but fish was not a much eaten item with family. Looks like a movie for learning with Huston rattling too fast. He has interest in many things, good going!!

That is wicked for the bass pong, sweet on pond king. LOL the 7 yr. old is " optional ". Poor Bella think she flip ya if you tried to get her on it. Said b4 if you can put in a dock then at the end add a 12 by 12 for family to sit. Docking the boat would be easy. Stay safe & take care of you all. Thanks for sharing eh :))

Great DIY PROJECT, Daniel!! I've got to admit that there was more to it than I thought. It definitely would have been better & faster as a two man job. I was quiscrewte surprised 😮 when Houston slipped into the water. It looks like there's going to be a lot of launching on the pond this year!!!
