Good idea. But some mistakes. UV will not effective in such a high flow of water pass through UV barrel. And no need of water pump if inlet pipe connectd to a water supply . Mineral cartridge has no role if no RO memberane.

Its good but. The sediment filter should be first or you will clog the charcoal filter. As said before, electronics at the top. The diodes are a bodge, each one drops the voltage by 0.7v, so a variable resistor would be better, or a pump that runs at the specified capacity. Otherwise, it does what you need it to, but you will need to replace the charcoal filter far more often than you should, unless you install it in the correct order.

Hi mate! I want to make a RO system for an aquarium, i have boring well water having TDs value of 2800 PPM. I need an advice to buy RO spear parts and a good quality membrane which can deal with 2800 ppm TDs and will give me 100 gallons of water per day. So now advice me that which set of compulsory membrane i should buy? I don't want to buy mineral membrane and uv membrane. If i use simple PPF 10 micron and CTO membrane with RO membrane, will these combination will fine for fresh water aquarium water? And please tell me is must to use RO booster pump and TDs controller in an RO system? And my final questions is that what is an UF membrane and for what it's used in system? I'm sorry for tons of question since I'm makin an open type RO system first time so i want to gather sufficient information about system. Thanks in advance.

Sir I have purchased UV UF Filter. My submersible pump doesn't lift water to 6 ft height. Output pure flow is slow. 1lt bottle fills up in 5 minutes. Please suggest a good pump that can suck water from bucket upto 8ft height with pressure to the Pre filter or outer filter.

I like you idea, however I don't trust that tiny UF membrane and the mineral cartridge will only help damage the UV lamp. Id do the same but remove the mineral cartridge and use a better membrane.
