DIY Pumpkin Wreath- Turn a Hobby Lobby or Dollar Tree Pumpkin Form into a Gorgeous Pumpkin Wreath!

Hello my KZfaq Friends!
I am so excited to share another fun, easy and gorgeous DIY idea with you! This project is so versatile and there are so many options and endless combinations that you can put together to create a really unique look to fit your decor style. I already have more colors in mind, so I am going to be making another one, which I will share on my community page and on my Instagram account. To create your own Pumpkin Wreath for this amazing Fall season, you will need the following:
-A Pumpkin Wreath Form (Hobby Lobby, Dollar Tree or anywhere else)
-Wired Ribbon in the color and width of your choice
-A Hot Glue Gun and Hot Glue
-Jute Twine
-Wired Beads or old bead necklace or bracelet
-Floral or Bead Wire
-Needle and Matching Thread (to your ribbon selection)
-Anything else you would like to use to embellish your Pumpkin Wreath

I see these wire wreath forms in so many different shapes and sizes all the time when I film my Dollar Tree videos. I’ve wondered about all the ways people can use them. I made a heart one. An easy way to gather is to do a running stitch straight up the middle of your ribbon. Then holding the thread at the bottom you push up the ribbon to make the gathers. Dots of glue or tieing a knot on your thread ends will hold your gathers. Then glue in place. Easy, peasy. Love the pumpkin and plan to make one. Great idea!

This is the best idea for the pumpkin wire form I have seen. The ruffled wire ribbon makes it perfect and the touch of beading puts it over the top! I am so inspired by your creativity. The mirror is magic! Thank you!

Used sparkly pipe cleaners instead of bracelets. Turned out beautiful and easy to adjust. Used red and gold then green for stem! Thanks for idea!!!

The pumpkin is absolutely beautiful. I did a 14" round wreath form and did the same technique with hot glue. It was messy and took a long time. I made each section a different color, and called it my wreath, "The Wreath of Many Colors." Even thought the hot glue was a little messy, it still looks beautiful. I softened the hot glue with a lighter and removed what I could.

I love it. I think it may be faster to do a straight stitch and gather it. You could do a stitch around the wire after so many straight stitches. I will have to try it and let you know. Awesome idea. You are very talented. I still haven’t gotten brake enough to white was my fireplace lol. That is how I found your channel. You are very talented. Thanks for sharing with us.

Deborah, I have watched MANY tutorials on what to do with the DT Pumpkin wreath form, alas I have still have two forms, but not for long. I love what you did here, it's simple and elegant. I scored one of those burlap cord wraps at the thrift store for $1.....guess it's coming off my chandelier and onto a pumpkin wreath form with some other colorful ribbon. Thanks for the inspiration!

Deborah, Such a great idea, love it. As you said the options are endless as to ribbon,etc. Perfect on the mirror. I can see where it would be messy with the glue gun, and burnt fingers. I LOVE this!! I’m definitely going to copy it! I’ve had a couple of these forms since last year and I’ve watched tons of videos on what to do with them but just didn’t have anything jump out at me. This is it! I loved placing it on the mirror. I have a mirror over my fireplace and this will be perfect there. I just wanted to thank you again for mentioning me in your community post. Many people have offered different ideas in the comments on how they might do it differently, but I like how mine turned out so I will repeat the same method. Let me know how you do yours! I'll look for a photo on your Instagram account. 😬👏👏👏 If you are going to hang it on a mirror though, you want to wrap ribbon around the wires instead of gluing gathered fabric just on top, if that makes sense. I am going to do another one and also look for more forms. I think they would make great gifts. You are welcome! I hoped you would get even more, but at least you passed the 1k and counting! Yay!!!
