DIY Quidditch Goal Post Rings (and a Quaffle)

5 жыл бұрынFor my daughter's birthday, made a set of Quidditch goal rings for a little sporting event. As an afterthought, I made a quaffle out of EVA foam, too.
(Yes, I filmed some of this out of order...can you see where?)

Hello! Could you please show me the steps you took to get that shape for the quaffle, starting from a sheet of paper? Thanks so much!

Oh, that was a matter of trial and error, really. I think this was my second or third attempt at it. I looked at reference photos and tried to draw out the main "Y" shaped pieces to a template, and then just guessed at the smaller, indented pieces.

I didn't measure them, just made the hoops a reasonable size and then made three different heights. Kind of just threw it together, really.
