Where did you find that large piece for the roof..I can only find them two feet wide by 12 feet long and yours looks like all one piece.. otherwise I will have to buy two pieces to cover one hutch and I’m building two.

Now that you’ve had them a while, any issues with them being Top Heavy? I’d be worried about the wind.

Please reconsider, this set up is to small for rabbits to live in, also the wire bottom cages will give your rabbit sore-hoc which is blisters from the wire digging into the poor little rabbits feat. Instead you should try an x-pen or free roaming (this isn’t always an option for everyone). But props for being creative.

Wire bottom is literally the standard for rabbit cages.

Standard but not correct, if you are interested in seeking proper rabbit care you should check out 101rabbits or Lennon the bunny they are very well educated on rabbit care so if you have any questions you should go check them out!

Mats can be an option for that so they wont be on the wire all the time

Sore hocks are caused by several things, none of which are from a GOOD CLEAN wire floor. They can be genetic but more often is caused by flimsy or rusted, wet or dirty floors where feces has been allowed to accumulate or something as simple as a rabbit that thumps at every sound. Rescue organizations have found rabbits living in filth in wire cages and those rabbits have often had sore hocks and the assumption was that it was caused by the wire floor. What caused the sore hocks was the build up of manure left wet by urine. When fur gets wet and soiled the fur develops a fungus that peels the fur away from the foot leaving it open to become infected. Rusty floors, even if kept clean can result in sore hocks from the constant abrasion and consequently infection.

Good effort but this is not ideal for rabbits. Wire bottom cages cause sores on there're feet. And it's far too small, rabbits need a lot of space. A rabbit in this enclosure would be very depressed.
