I only saw one time you actually used the heat in the rebar to make it easier to bend, you can do most of this work with the rebar cold

If you're insistent on using heat why not just use a propane torch while the piece is in the vice. That seems like it would be the fastest way.

That welded (from pipe to plate) is not fused. Look at it, you see the "lack of fusion", on the bottom toe line of the weld. All that tack, tack, Mig weld BS, is just barely above the strength of silicone calk. Top Notch Product.

Да просто манипуляций дофига лишних. Нафиг арматуру нагревать!? Достаточно тисков, ножовки по металлу и сварки, чтобы сделать хороший шпингалет.

У арматуры марка стали 25Г2С это обычная катанка там марка стали Ст3сп, а арматуру если нагреть и закалить тогда она хрупкой становится

To make that latch stronger drill a hole in the plate, chamfer the back so the weld can get good penetration and then weld the catch on the front and back of the plate and grind it flush.... Just a suggestion!

Disculpen, eso se puede hacer en frío!!! No hay necesidad de calentar!!! Un herrero con experiencia no necesita realizar mucha maniobra para realizar ese tipo de detalles, en realidad solo necesita un par de ángulos, clavos, una grifa un pedazo de tubo y listo ✅️

For the love of god……. First, learn how to weld. Running a bead is way more satisfying tbh. Second, you don’t need a furnace in order to bend rebar. Third, it’s not DIY IF YOU NEED A WELDER AND A PROPANE FURNCE THAT NEEDS REFRACTORY BRICKS!

Question: if you're using a blowtorch to heat the rebar, why do you need an oven? Just use the torch to heat the rebar in the vice. 🤔

You know, you can just buy latches. You don't need the equipment and materials for this gas forge to heat up rebar to make a latch. Latches aren't that expensive and I'd imagine this setup probably costs more than a manufactured latch.

Tac is to hold it in place to make adjustments if needed then depending on the thickness of the metal you lay a continues bead some can be a few inches long a few inches apart or some could be the whole thing jus depends
