Do it yourself red line tires. Original tires on TR6 USA were 185r15. Metric tire from France with Red line on them. Most made by Michelin. On a British Racing Green car they look amazing. Not made anymore. There are a few companies that make their own by modifying an existing tire. Diamond Back. Coker has one also.
My replacement is the common used size of 205-70r15.
These are Michelin Harmonys that I purchased a while back due to their white line being very close to original in location and width. I heard they were being discontinued so I purchased and stored until was road worthy and I restored the wheels.
The width of my redlines are 7/16 inch. Same as my original tire I measured.
The stickers are expensive but a lot less buying real red lines for sure. Tire Stickers sells them but I got through A ma zon. Same company.
I took car to VTR2023 in Dillard Georgia. I got several compliments on the look.
You don’t need a white line to add these but it makes it a lot easier to install for sure. Or at least some line on the tire. You do need a little red paint to touch up some spots.
They say to avoid car washes. Also avoid tire sprays directly on product.
The redline is a thick rubber and the glue is amazing. It flexes a lot and is bonded hard. I’m using the glue to fix some weatherstripping as a matter of fact. Works great.
