Is it possible to make a ring from an ordinary coin with your own hands? Yes. Watch how the master makes a ring with a precious stone from an ordinary coin. Almost any coin can be made into a ring. And the manufacturing technique is not too complicated. DIY jewelry is easy.
This activity is performed by actors in a controlled environment. Please use caution if you plan to replicate.

@MEMeOp Depends on the country, it's even different in different countries that have the Euro lol... In Germany for example it's completely legal to do whatever you want with your money. You could shred billions of euro notes if you had the money lol In other EU countries it's only legal to destroy a certain amount. If you think about it, there is no reason why you shouldn't be allowed to destroy money. If you are allowed to never spend it or hide it somewhere, where it's never found, you might as well be allowed to destroy it.

It's actually not in the EU. And since it's a Euro, i suppose that's where this video was filmed. Especially in an artistic context it's allowed here, and it's tolerated in small amounts in other contexted. Of course, that could be totally different in other parts of the world.

@@CynHicks the larger pure ones aren’t everywhere because you’ll a most never find a EXTREMELY clear purified gemstone. They aren’t supposed to be 100% clear that’s just not how they are spawned in. Most gemstones are only cleared because of human intervention. It’s a very small percentage of diamonds that are used for jewelry and whatnot. They are expensive only because of society. Just like how in America nobody used to want lobsters but then as they became more popular everybody wanted them. If society all of a sudden came to there senses and was like wow we put so much value on diamonds but they are extremely common and there are also many other pretty gemstones they’d loose their popularity, then become worth very little.

@@yaboispudpud what do I mean? I mean exactly that, currency is not subjective. It is not influenced by an individual's or group feelings, opinions on the matter. It is determined by trade, GDP, wealth of a nation, all that good stuff. Now if I was to say an object such as a stone given to me by my son, whilst at the beach. That would have value to me subjectively, however it would have no value to you. So in that context, you'd be onto something. In this scenario the creator took a Euro, which is pretty worthless in the global market. Sorry if that causes offence but I reckon you will get over it. Turned it into an item of jewellery, thus increasing its monetary value significantly. Probably far exceeding the value of the metals it was made from. Have a good day and be on your way.

@@apfelfruchtsafterdbeerspei1535 That's true in all EU countries if I'm correct. To anyone who wants proof or sources this is from European comission's website: "The destruction of small quantities of euro banknotes or coins by an individual should neither be prohibited nor penalised. The justification for the non-prohibition is the fact that the lawful owner of a banknote should be able to do what he/she wants with his/her own good as long as there is no impact on third parties. Damaged banknotes should not be brought back into circulation. The unauthorized destruction of large quantities of euro banknotes or coins should however be prohibited."
