Good morning Sam, Hope all is well... I'm just about to try this soonest! As you know I'm an Onion Hair Mask kinda girl! Welllllll, today I added garlic, cucumber, and 2 oils to my onion mask... I can't thank you enough for these post and your encouragement to be creative. My hair feels amazing and super soft to the touch. Not to mention how dark my hair looks! I myself can't believe how its darkening the few greys I have... Ladies, you have to try this onion mask, it works! I had some remaining and its refrigerated for next hair day... Thanks so much Sam... You're such a blessing to my self care routine... On to FACE TIME now... Happy weekend granted unto you and family!

Good evening I just ran across your channel and wanted to know what can I do to keep little knots out of my hair I do a couple times a week spray with fenugreek or hibiscus sprays and moisturizing cream and I seal my ends but I see have small knots is there anything I can do to stop them or if you have something in your video's I can try please let me know I would appreciate it very much
@LifestyleUnlocked
@LifestyleUnlocked 2 жыл бұрын
Hello there. 😊 Thank you for reaching out. Those little knots, which are called fairy knots, are so frustrating. There are a few reasons why you may be experiencing them. Dryness is a common culprit, but it sounds like you have that sorted. It can also be due to your ends being damaged eg split ends. So you might be due a good trim. If you wear your hair out, eg in wash and go styles, your ends can rub against each other or rub against your clothes or shoulders, and this encourages the ends to coil back onto themselves and this becomes a knot. A way around that is to keep your hair slightly stretched most of the times, eg with twists, mini braids, etc. If your hair is slightly stretched, it’s less likely to knot. Also, keep your hair off your shoulders and off your clothes. The other reason may be because of incomplete detangling. Make you detangle your hair thoroughly before washing and before styling. Avoid causing friction when washing or conditioning your hair. Use strokes when managing your hair, not circular motions. Always be gentle when handling your hair. I will prepare a video to explain this in more detail, but I hope that helps. If you’ve not yet subscribed, it’d be best to subscribe and sign up for notifications so that you don’t miss the video. 😊 If you have any more questions, don’t hesitate to ask. Have a wonderful day my dear. 😊

@@LifestyleUnlocked Samantha, thank you so much I wear my hair in big twist and every now an then I may braid my hair. I also make sure my strands are detangle and I moisture my hair 2 to 3 times aweek and my ends I usually seal them with hair butter or an oil mixture also I clip my ends often. I've been trying different types of hair sprays to see which one my hair likes again I was using months ago blk rice or fenugreek and hibiscus I'm now trying neem and fenugreek mixture it seems to like it so for I didn't have alot of shedding yesterday when I use it also I. In the process of regrowing my edges from menopause and meditation us stress and years ago from braids being too tight I think I've gotten something that's working also I pick a couple of yours off your channel the ones I commented on so thank you for answering my questions look forward in more amazing video from you and then I picked up a few different aryvedic shampoo bars I'm using one that is a neem bar I'm also seeing how my hair likes it 😊

Good morning Samantha, how should I store the leave in? Thanks in advance ♥️
@LifestyleUnlocked
@LifestyleUnlocked 2 жыл бұрын
Hello Bridgette my lovely. 😊 You can store this at room temperature, but it doesn’t hurt to keep it in the fridge. You can then just warm it up in your hands (by just rubbing it between your hands) when you are using it. Rosemary is naturally a dry herb and doesn’t have much moisture in the leaves. When you ‘cook it’ until it changes colour like it did in the video, any moisture that was in it will have dried up. So it has a pretty good shelf life. The cloves are dry to begin with. This is safe to use for up to a month, even when stored at room temperature. I hope that helps. 😊❤️

Do you put this in your hair everyday
@LifestyleUnlocked
@LifestyleUnlocked Жыл бұрын
Hi Dawn. No, my lovely. I don’t put it in my hair every day, only when I am moisturising my hair. I only moisturise my hair once or twice during the week after wash day. So I use it 1-2 times a week between wash days. How often you use it depends on how often you need to moisturise your hair, and also the ingredients in the leave-in conditioner. If you use the one I used in this video or any other moisturising leave-in conditioner with very little or no protein in it, it will be safe to use daily. However, if your leave-in conditioner has a lot of protein, it may cause dryness if you have low porosity hair. So you would need to use that sparingly & not often. The safest thing to do is to use a moisturising leave-in conditioner, then once you make this cream with cloves and rosemary, you can apply it as often as needed. Hope that helps. 😊❤️

But cloves and rosemary work on the scalp and you don't put leave in on that?
@LifestyleUnlocked
@LifestyleUnlocked Жыл бұрын
Hi J.K. I always apply my leave-in to the roots as well as the hair shaft & ends, not just the shaft & ends. So it will inevitably go onto the scalp & allow the cloves and rosemary to work on the scalp. It won’t do any harm if it goes onto the scalp as long as you thoroughly cleanse you hair & scalp regularly, and also clarify now and again. I know some people are so worried about build up, but that only happens if you don’t wash the hair & scalp often & if you don’t clarify the hair & scalp regularly. 😊

Why using other leave in products and add new stuff to it, not diy. Just saying.
@LifestyleUnlocked
@LifestyleUnlocked 2 жыл бұрын
Hi there. 😊 It’s just an option, along the same lines as adding essential oils to a shampoo or conditioner. One of the main reasons for doing this is because not everyone has access to things like emulsifiers, thickeners and preservatives. So this allows them to more or less enhance what they already have. You can always make a diy from scratch of course, which is always great fun. I do plan to introduce things such as emulsifiers etc. on my channel further down the line, which I’m really looking forward to. In the meantime, however, here’s a link to one you make from scratch: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/l8h9bLeglsWop6c.html You’ve actually given me an idea to tweak it and make a new DIY leave-in conditioning cream with cloves and rosemary, from scratch. So stay tuned for an update! 😊👌 Thank you for your valued input. 😊
