Awesome video. Subscribed. One thing i would say is; cut a new wood block at a 90' angle to the grain, seems to me there's a big risk that blocks gunna split just like a piece of firewood. Maybe i'm completely wrong, i own 1 air rifle worth about 100$. I own a few other firearms that incorporate springs however none close to that sucker! I hardly comment, i just didn't want you to get injured in the event i am correct in my assumption. Have a blessed day!

Sure is a needed tool! I sold my old car last summer to a kid that wanted parts and asked him if he needed the jack and he said no... _Free spring compressor powerplant._ Finally the woodclamp got traded for a wood-champ ! Haha

Back here at home the saying is : " 'n Boer maak 'n plan" loosely translated meaning a farmer or man makes a plan : ) Very nicely done, just safe, functional and practical method to help solve a problem. Nice work! May I ask what you using to keep your phone or camera up whilst recording and how to keep in frame? My attempts at making a short video suck and am very amateurish especially since I have absolutely zero pics of myself nor much anything else and am camera shy as is. Stay strong!

Lol, you would laugh your head off if you saw my camera setup. One of my camera stands is a sheetrock holder. For this video, my camera phone was sitting on a step stool, leaning against a can of yams, lol 😂👍🙂👍. Other videos when I've been sitting on the ground and shooting my air rifle, I was leaning against my tire on my vehicle and my camera was sitting on top of the tire propped up in front of my gloves 🧤, lol 😂👍🙂👍. @@springpistonriflefeverlone9611 Haha, kewl! I made a short video but nothing was in frame. Will have to find time to redo and hopefully phone fully charged! Alive and kicking thanks! Joined a small Gospel Church around the corner to try remain positive and upbeat, it's more for my nephew whom I'm looking after so that he may meet new people and hopefully see that there is still good left on this Earth. The pastor is a white guy who seems decent enough and not a fly-by-night scammer. There are so many Nigerian Gospel churches around flaunting huge amounts in money and taking so much money from their constituents. What remains of a proper Catholic Church is just way too far out for us to travel. He has his first youth meeting this Friday night so is looking forward as we usually fumble around in the dark due to the rolling black outs, anyways. Take care and remain warm! Spring should be around soon and look forward to seeing some of the scenery in your part of the world! : ) All the best!

Get yourself a good Bible and do a little reading to see what is being taught is in the Good Book🙂👍. Right now this world is getting very scary and I fully believe that we need to get as close as possible to Jesus Christ.

How would this work with a hw 80 how would you screw the back block on when under tension

Using bungee straps to keep the block on would be reasonable 🙂👍

Looking at this gigantic setup , its pretty much overkill :D , forget Magnum Spring , you can actually compress Anything IMO , LOL , Nice work though

It was cheap and that was the idea. It needs a few modifications for it to work better. My setup cost about 5 dollars, a professional one will cost 20 times that much. I already had what I needed, no need to go out and blow extra money.
