This is an age old art of ours...we called it Naksi Kantha...Our ancestors embroid beautiful stories on this handmade blanket, shawls, stole, shrugs etc. This types of art has its own essence .

I sew all my scraps into a single sheet cutting and adjusting to keep it flat with the odd shapes then cut out the squares so that virtually nothing is wasted and you get a mix of colors.

Absolutely gorgeous! You're so ingenious with all of your projects, but this is my favourite because the squares can be made multiple times and turned into a quilt of any size. Such patient and intricate work - thank you ❤
