Hey Lisa! Just thought I would share a tip with you just in case you haven’t thought of it yet. But what I do when painting on glass that I don’t want to use sealer on the whole thing, is I put my top coat in my paint that I’m using to stencil with. It protects that paint but doesn’t dull the glass like you said. Hope this helps.

Your lampshade, before you decorated it, is exactly like mine, including the size. I bought my lamp and lampshade at a thrift store about a year ago, and they were in perfect condition. Not a spot of dirt or damage. The lamp is white, and I chose to leave it as is, but today, when I saw your video, I knew that was exactly what I wanted to do to this little shade...laces and all. I did not put the roses on mine; I felt it was too much decor for such a small shade, and the bottom lace is not quite as long as yours, but my efforts turned out beautiful. Thank you so much for posting your video and giving great ideas!
