Для потока есть роликовые ножи, проще и легче и собираются в пачки. Вот эта вот хуйня, нахуй никому не нужна. Она еще и резать никогда нормально не будет, потому что на гриндере ты их хер нормально заточишь.

Dude if you don't know sometimes when you buy sheet metal like really small squares they will put protective coatings on it usually it's clear but it can come color same thing happens when you order acrylic or any kind of see-through medium that you plan on putting on them CNC mill

@@gnomewarlord8962 it wasn't sheetmetal, bearings aren't hard enough to cut metal this way, and people aren't strong enough to push through sheetmetal so easily. Yes, a circular blades can cut it this way, but not with a cutter like this. To cut any kind of material, there is a basic rule: the cutter has to be harder than the material it's cutting. Then there's also the cutter geometry, but it won't matter if the cutter itself won't be able to withstand the hardness of the material it cuts. All this dude made is a glorified paper cutter.

@@joakimvhes302 trust me I'm agreeing with you this thing's a f****** piece of s*** that at most can probably cut through sheets of copper or gasket material but all I was getting is that could be small sheets of tin with a protective coating or something similar soft metal that's so thin it requires a protective coating

@@joakimvhes302 You smoked something? A metal (not even considering type of metal) sheet thats harder than bearing? You haven't seen a bearing in your life it seems, or it was some chinesium one. Also im pretty sure it was in fact a sheet of metal, maybe aluminium.

@@ajaxracing Not if you set your heat right, I have welded that thin and thinner sheet metal with mig and no, it wont burn through when the machine is set up right. Generally speaking, people will weld like that to make it look like it was tig welded with the "stack of dimes" look. It is possible to mig weld it but it wont look like the stack they are going for.

it works almost like scissors. the two main metal parts are at an angle, almost like open scissors, kinda. the bearings are sanded so that the inner ring is in contact with the big metal part, and the outside ring functions almost like a little wheel.

@@mister_damian i dony think is the wheel, why is he sharpening them at the beginning. The guy is right it's hard to understand what cuts, as he didn't sharpen those metal bars

The bearing is sharpened to do the cutting, it's a rolling sheer.

It works like scissors, just like mister_alt explained, but what you see in the video won't cut anything more than paper. To cut something you need a cutter with the blade harder than what you're cutting. Bearings aren't hard enough to cut sheetmetal, nor a human is able to push a cutter like this through sheetmetal so effortlessly. If you're looking to find out and learn how to cut and work with metals, go to channels like This Old Tony, or my mechanics, maybe Alec Steele, even tho he's mostly known for forging rather than cutting and machining. This dude here does nothing more than collect views from shorts and fool people who have no idea about metalworking. All you witness here is human stupidity and waste of everyone's time and resources

I only understand because I operate a slitter. Its the sharpend bearings that cut. Think of think shears that roll

No I actually allready have a tool that does the exact same thing and it's made by cobalt.However,mine is plastic and making one out of steel would definitely be an upgrade 👌
