I think the colors that you have chosen definitely give the room a larger feel. I love the shiplap. With the age of your home, I think the claw foot tub goes with it. I would definitely keep it. It's so vintage and cool

I would definitely love to keep the claw tub because it is vintage!🤪❤ It is neat to find what was in rooms from years ago. That was really sweet of Brian!❤ Praise the Lord for mom being ok!❤ I'm guessing 7 trips to Lowe's!😊 That neutral paint color is beautiful! I’ve been thinking about refinishing my bath tub but just the color of it. We are currently remodeling our downstairs bathroom. It's super small too. It's been so much fun working side by side with my husband. I've learned so much from him and our experience. We now know the dos and don't for next time! We always make several trips to the hardware store on any project we have. They know is by name. Lol! I look forward to seeing yours and our bathroom finished. ❤❤

😻I would definitely keep the tub. I had one when I lived in California. But I was unable to move it to Idaho. they are so heavy. So I had to leave it behind. I loved that tub. I actually had mine in my vegetable garden with veggies and flowers in it.

Lord, my home is also over 100 years old, and I would do just about anything to get rid of the bead board/wainscoting. Unfortunately, my husband isn't very handy with home construction. I'm definitely going to check out your other reno videos! Thank you!

Keep the tub! My house was built in 1888 and the tub was changed out in the ‘50’s. Finding a claw foot tub that was salvageable wasn’t easy and it’s extremely heavy. I love my tub!

Shannon, I would keep the tub. My home was built in 1915. We found news paper in the outer wall. It was used as insulation. Thank you for sharing.

I think all of the accessories, flooring, etc. that you showed us are really gorgeous and I love the paint color too. I would keep the tub. Elyshia English restored her claw foot tub with marine paint. She tried several different kits that did not work before using the marine paint. She painted the feet gold. Her home is over 100 years old. She and her husband are restoring it. It’s in Nova Scotia

We had a house in California it was built in 50's I believe and..our master bathroom was about same size as this one hated it....but we had a small bedroom next to it we had built large master on otherside of it so we turned that room and closet (small closet ) and made it larger bathroom and walk in closet sooo fun!!! But I had do all work myself my husband isn't handy at all!!! I also took another bedroom and made the window a sliding door and turned it into my sewing room I enjoyed that house and miss it!!!❤😢

That's amazing you did all that on your own! It's SO MUCH WORK! These older houses are challenging, from the layout to the lack of storage. Sounds like you got it all figured out! We are still working on that here...

Keep the tub. One thing I regret about my cousins Reno of my Grandparents house; was removing the claw foot tub. I remember taking some nice deep soaks in that tub!
