Subway tile is so classic and ages so well! I also legit had to argue with a contractor for an hour to get them to center some lighting over a vanity because they were going to make it OFF CENTER from the vanity. WHAT A FREAKING MONSTER. 🤣

This is better than big budget HGTV....in quality....and.....everything. Goodness....the amount of effort for the renovation....let alone filming it....and filming it exceptionally. I think that Becki is great at not only designing the spaces but also finding the fine line of "is it worth the money" and still make the end result look high end. Having gone through a current house/bathroom/kitchen remodel, the chaos that is this video makes me feel so much better about all of the small things that turned into big things.

Best 24 min of the day (except for lunch, the noodle salad I had was great). The room turned out great, I like the style of it, it complements everything else beautifully. I also want to point out how good the flow of the story is, the scenes you picked came together nicely and the whole editing is just smooth and so so well done, love it! By the way, its interesting to see how houses are build where you guys live, e. g. the drywalls and floor and how to work with the former. Our house is made almost purely out of reinforced concrete except for the roof. Yes, it might be stronger and things like tornadoes (though we almost don‘t have any where I live) wouldn‘t hurt it that much, but it seems WAY easier to work with drywall. You can cut it, run stuff behind it and do so much more. If I wanna move a cable I have to mill channels into the wall, use gigantic drills and it‘s just a hassle. The good thing: if I wanna mount a picture frame I can do it pretty much everywhere except for where cables are routed, I just need a hammer and a nail. Same goes for mounting other stuff, with bigger objects, anchors are needed though. Becki, you are right, an Inch is a lot.

I would have rage-quit after the first dozen mistakes, so that 1” off on the wall sconce would’ve been the cherry on top 🤣🤣🤣. Finding the mistake at that stage… yeah you fix it. Finding it at the end… naw it stays lol.

Not gonna lie i searched diy home office ideas/ tours and came across your vid on office space wasn’t not what I was looking for my line of work but the production n editing of the vid caught my attention.
