On resistors R4 R5 and capacitors C5 C10 phase-shifting chains are assembled by 90 degrees. A balanced modulator is assembled on four diodes, which suppresses the carrier and one sideband. An SSB signal will be generated on winding L7. If the antenna is connected to winding L7, then on capacitors C8 C9 there will be a receiving signal, this transmitter will turn into a SSB/CW signal radio receiver

Very interesting work, thanks for sharing! If I understand correctly the 90 degree phasing using R4 / R5 and C5 / C10 depends on frequency, right? If you wanted to make this transmitter work on other frequencies (eg by adding a VFO) would you need to adjust the values? Or would it be close enough across most of the 80m band? Do you have resources (in Russian is fine) that you could link to explaining the theory? 73 DE KK7RWK
