I love your sewing machines. My mother had a Singer sewing machine that operated by a treadle (worked by our feet) - I guess it’s an antique now - my sister has it still, no doubt. My mother’s other sewing machine was a very old electric sewing machine that looked something like yours. Looking at yours, I can distinctly smell the wonderful smell of heated oil on metal that this gave off. I miss those sewing machines - they had character & substance, unlike the new Janomi one I bought myself when I was in my 20’s, quite a while ago now. You are really amazing with all these projects, Irene!
