I would love to make one of these. The problem for me is, I don't want to expose my forearm to the blade at the end of the push. Call me finickity, bit I am really attached to it.

Hello, I am a lawyer from Microjig and I'd like a word. Just kidding, great work. Do you have any issues with the fence on your DeWalt saw being out of square relative to the table? I had a replacement sent to me by DeWalt and it's worse than the original.

Hi vVeazel. Actually I did. When I got it there was a half milimeter gap on the back side between the blade and the fence. I went through quite a few videos, and kept on adjusting. I managed to make it square but it took quite some time and I was almost ready to get a new one. How bad is yours?

@@AllFlavorWorkshop Thanks for the reply! At the infeed, my original fence is square to the table, however at the outfeed I have a 2mm gap at the top of the fence. Did you use some fort of tape between the plastic slider and the aluminium rail to correct it?

@@vVeazel I did not. My main goal was to make the fence parallel to the blade. I was having a tiny gap there and I needed to adjust the back part of the fence. The fence has a plastic part that is attached to the aluminum rail. There is a hexagon bolt that fixes these 2 parts together. I was adjusting this one (together with the front one) to make the fence paralel.
