亡くなった親友から貰った鍋つかみ、こうやって作っていたとわかりました。病気になっても調子がいいときに作ってくれた鍋つかみは大切に焦がさぬよう食器にしか使いません。小さな布をしっかり縫い止めて彼女の繊細な気持ちを今でも思い出しながら紅茶をいれています。

Reminds me of the quilt I made. I started out with an old worn light weight blanket and stitched old blue jeans, cut up into scraps, onto the blanket in a similar style. Then I backed it with an extra flat sheet I had. Ended up with a nice quilt that cost me only the time I put into it.

Красиво, но не практично. Сумка будет тяжеловата. В 90х шили из наволочек и платьев, было неплохо, но неудобно.
