Went foraging in our little barn yesterday, and found 2 grain sacks. They are just like the one you used in the first project. Mine were filthy, too, and I threw them in the washer. They are what my husband calls “clean dirt” now.

The last one is my favorite. The yellow and orange flowers would have overpowered the overall look. You made it work with the ivory baby's breath and those greenish flowers... another beautiful project completed...

Have you considered using spray adhesive behind the dropclothe? It would still probably be removable, and you wouldn't see or feel the lines of glue. As always, another good video. Thanks!

It may, but the weight, and the decor I add to it. May be too much to hold it in place. If it was laying down it may work better.

Love these transformations! Have you tried using a rotary cutter to trim the grain sacks? Might be worth a try.

Just an opinion, I would use the spray adhesive. The glue shows up pumpy. Love your ideas.

I mentioned that, when I added the wet distress(which I didn't plan on it showed. That why I did the second one differently.

Yvonne, i love those grain sacks and what you did with them was great they are beautiful. I love the tobacco basket as well. When you got done with it it beautiful. Iv hade a couple of them in my stash for a while, thanks to you iv got some good ideas about how to fix them now. I ran across some sacks a couple of weeks ago for $1 a peace but there not like yours, there like jute or something. I have cleaned them and they do have wording on them, so my question is can i use them? Or would no one be interested in them? God bless
