Sniffing and snuffling toys:
Fleece Snuffle Mat: Cut up fleece strips and tie them onto a rubber or plastic mat. Hide treats or kibble within the fleece for your dog to sniff out. This is a great mental workout for senior pups.
Muffin Tin Treasure Hunt: Use a regular or mini muffin tin depending on your dog's size. Place treats or kibble in each cup and cover them with tennis balls or ping pong balls. This will challenge your dog to use their nose and paws to get to the yummy rewards.
