Hannah if it doesn't work, try using a stamp design and a glue stick instead. Some foils are different. Good luck. I'd love to know how it works out.

How does it not get distorted??

Hi Hilma, its brilliant really...its because we transfer the image to a thin sheet of raw clay, then attach the raw sheet to a "baked" base (the round piece). This way there is very little distortion of the pattern. And no distortion of the base piece because its shape has been set by previously baking it. Lastly, you bake again to cure the raw clay sheet to the baked piece.
