In this video DIY tutorial I show you an easy way to make the purse bag by own hands from scratch.

If you are looking to make this bag, here are some SIMPLE INSTRUCTIONS!!! 1) Figure out how big I want your bag ( hers is really small, you can make it as big or as little as you’d like) 2) Make the first rectangular piece and pin the first front design aspect in place 3) Then from there cut the curved edges. 4)Once you have the size you want for your first piece (and your edges are cut), you can now cut your back piece and the lining. (As well as the interfacing, pockets, bias tape for the top, arm straps, etc) 5)As for the bottom piece, you will have to sew together the two outer pieces to get the proper size and shape you want. She went for a football shape, where as the bag in the thumbnail was more of a rectangular shape. It’s up to you as to the shape you want your bag to have in it’s resting position. 6) Sew everything together how she displayed in the video and you should be good to go. Her technique is fairly simple, but super willy-nilly. I would recommend looking up a channel that makes couture bags and dubbing some of their high-end techniques, but use the general styling of this bag and you should be good to go. Hope that helps 😊!

Thanks loads for this.. you have taken so much efforts for all of us.. @content creator.. even a small change in size might affect its cuteness in look.. I think that's why so many have asked for measurements.. Apart from that, those fold ratio makes a diff as well..

I know the reply is late, but I don't think she can really give measurements. The herringbone pattern (in size spread across) will vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. Since she is setting a particular pattern to the front of the purse with the hexagon, and does not know what hex size you'd end up with, measurements would only be a guess. :)

Get gorgeous, I will definitely make this tomorrow. I do want to say I feel one of the slides you put on the handle seems backward. They should both be facing out. Now that's my opinion so if it's the way you want. That's great.

Nice work! Thanks for sharing. If I may share my point of view on crafting...The bag is handsome enough and worthy for stronger stiches for the handles and the skratch tape under the button. I'm not fan for the use of the glue as it does not last...

For those looking for measurements, she's using a "cheat" trick based on folding the fabric and getting the half way point marks that way. It's not quite as bad as asking an elder for their secret recipe with a dash of this and a pinch of that".
