Today I’ll be showing you how to make an easy natural soap for acne prone skin. I'll be using turmeric and cinnamon as my main ingredients and peppermint, lavender and cinnamon essential oils as well. This is a great gift idea for the Holidays that your family and friends will love and appreciate. It’s simple and inexpensive. you can also add your dry ingredients and oils to 1-2 tablespoons of glycerin and mix well then add to your soap base so everything will blend well and the added glycerin makes the soap a bit more sudsy.

Hi! I tried making this (a smaller batch) and after trying it made my skin feels kinda tight. Heard that was a bad thing because it means the ph level is probably too high. Is it possible that I added too much tumeric/cinnamon powder? If not, what can I do to fix it? Thank you! Love your videos

Hi hun! Thank you so much. I appreciate that. It can be the ph level (but I’m not a pro so I wouldn’t speak too much on that, I don’t want to give you wrong info) but you can also add some more oil (jojoba oil would be great) to it so it wouldn’t be that drying. Cinnamon is also not for super sensitive skin, so if you do have sensitive skin, def add way less than I did. I also always moisturize after washing my face, especially in the winter time, so I think if you do these things it should be better. Please let me know if this helped. ☺️💕💕

I made this soap and it’s wonderful! To keep the tightness at bay, I use a little sweet almond oil in the mix. Helps tremendously. Then I also moisturize with a few drops of the sweet almond oil.

Thank you so much. 😄 You might be able to make a liquid version of this with the African Black Soap (unless it’s an African black soap melt & pour soap base). The melt and pour was made to be melted then resolidified, once you break down the black soap, I’m not sure how to make it solid again. If you’re ok with a liquid version, be sure to add a preservative. I hope this helped. 💕💕

Hi, all the ingredients in this is known to combat acne, however, cinnamon can be a bit harsh for sensitive skin, so I’d advice using it on a small area of your face first to see how it works, and remember to moisturize after using.

Hi, thank you! It’s melt and pour soap base, so it’s already been cured and doesn’t require a preservative. However, the color might fade over time. 💕

It depends on your skin type really, it’s not recommended for sensitive skin, but it also has incredible benefits 💕

This is not the best way to promote your store. It would be best if you put a video making your soap from scratch. Promoting your soap store with this video makes it look like this is what you sale in your store. It looks like fraud. Real soap makers care about their product even if is not for sale. Nowadays even the most expensive soap is not guarantee the use of quality ingredients. It matters where you get the ingredients from. Hand made soap does not guarantee quality of product either. It matters when you add the ingredients too. It also matters if the soap is Hot or cold process. People don't have a lot of time to look deep into where videos come from, specially someone who knows the subject. We either use it or toss it. Sometimes we respond to what is presented before our eyes.I am passionate about soap. Just from what I saw in your video, I would never buy your soap. Presentation matters. I wish you luck.
