Towards the end when you had your family's help holding down the buttons grasped my heart! If you are a try "DIYer" then you always need the help and support of your family or at least I do! Wow, looks fantastic! I would never suspect that this was a DIY project - it looks like y'all bought it from a high end store! Great job! Found your video because we need to make a low height head board because our bed sits in front of a window that will have a window treatment and non-operational curtains at the side (our room structure doesn't give us a lot of options!). So we have to fashion something ourselves for the headboard. Thank you for sharing this how to video.

We used those brackets at the end of the video that were being screwed into the back. The legs sort of sit outside and next to the headboard. We assembled in on our bed so it was hard to get a good shot. If you have any questions or if I can explain better please let me know!

It was quite a bit of work, but not "hard" work. Glad I had the hubby and kid's help. It's for sure not a one person job. My bedroom makeover is coming together :) Just need to build another night stand and it'll be ready to share

Your bedroom is beautiful!! Think about putting mirrors above your nightstands. Have part of the mirror reflect your lampshades. This will enhance your already beautiful bedroom.

My favorite part was seeing all the hands from your family on holding the buttons. It made me cry seeing your husband & kids come together for a beautiful headboard. The Video without editing I would put in a memory box. So I wonder who will fight to have the headboard when you decide your ready for a new one?Also if you ever want to or need to change out the fabric it looks to me it would be easy. Great job!

I am definitely going to be making this bed it's gorgeous.... How do you measure... Is it just width and length ? And is the head board in the back down past the mattress. I have 1000000 questions
