Here’s a roof vent exhaust fan powered by usb connections that I put together using two $7 Opolar brand (bought on Amazon). It can also just be used as a regular fan 😊.

Where do you mount it? Roof vent opening that hasn't it's own fan? I've been wondering how to do a vent that doesn't just scream (vandweller) when I attempt to stealth camp.

Kathryn Arnold , yes that’s where I put it. I’m not really sure how effective it is at exhausting hot air, but the little fans are very inexpensive, around $6.99 each.

@@threedogsandacamper503 I have a bunch of parts I purchased to install an exhaust fan in the bathroom of this old house my apartment is in (because it's so old i couldn't find a volunteer willing to touch the antiquated resin and cloth covered wiring!). It's not 12v, but i think i could install this fan in the side of the van over the intended kitchen area, with a very nondescript downward-facing vent cover on the outside.

Kathryn Arnold , that sounds good. Did you see the video Bob (cheap RV living) posted about the lady who put a fantastic fan in the rear door window of her van?

@@threedogsandacamper503 i saw there was such a video but didn't watch it because it looked to me like an invitation to damage as some crackhead tried breach the opening for theft (assuming they wouldn't know the resale value of a used Fantastic fan).

Kathryn Arnold , true...or it might look like an easier way to break into the van..
