Any time you are gathering sticks or twigs for crafts, take a roasting bag along and drop them in that. At home, bake in the bag at 350 Fahrenheit for fifteen minutes so you kill insects, their eggs, mold, fungus, and all that other natural stuff that lives on or under bark. It's bad to have something crawl out.

My favourite wand is Hermione's, I just love those little leaf decorations. Also the wand you made is great, I love that the thing at the bottom looks like a paw. I'm keen for more tutorials!

Thanks! It wasn't so bad. I wanted the wand to look rough and natural. McGonagall's wand is great. And as much as I hate Umbridge, her wand was kind of cool too.

I love Luna Lovegood's wand and Hermiones one, they are so cute. This tutorial is just amazing, other ones I watched were made with chopsticks and pencils but using a wood stick seems quite better, even if you have you work more on it!

I love those wands you made, I have been making them with a Dremel for years, and seeing you make them with a box cutter, and came out great...My favorite wand is the Elder wand, also Snape's too, and Sirius's wand too, that was a bit long to make with all the ruins in it.. but gave it away, and will re do one again... but in Fantastic Beasts, love Nicolas Flamel's wand... So antique looking and different from all the others, I will try to make that one soon...!!!

This is awesome. You do need to bake your sticks or even microwave them for a time to get rid of infestations. Great tutorial! I might use this for my daughter's 13th birthday coming up. My favorite wand is hermione's and seraphina's.

My absolute favorite wand is Fleur Delacour`s wand, and right after that, the second wand of Luna. BUT, it would be terrific to win your handmade wand! I really like that it`s made out of wood it makes the wand authentic! The Box is also stunning! I just love it! Thank you again for all your work, you can be sure it is appreciated, the most amazing thing you did so fare, is for me of course the Marauder`s Map, I love the other stuff you posted too, the research you did with the chocolate frogs!
