It's FALL Y'all!!! We re-purposed our quick and easy $5 DIY Front Porch Welcome Sign for some fall porch decorating ideas using a Cricut Stencil. We see these wooden Welcome signs on all of our neighbors porch and entryways, so we decided to join them.

Hey Denise! We try to sprinkle in the tips and tricks throughout the videos. Like the one coming out tomorrow is how to take apart a graphic to cut multiple colors of vinyl. Then line them back up on the item.

Sooooo super cute! I think I’ll make one for my porch! Question, do I need to seal it with anything? - I live in Richmond, VA & we get a fair amount of rain, and it snows here at least 1-2 times a winter. (I do have a covered porch though)

Well...interestingly enough...we live in Richmond and have a covered porch! It still gets a little wet though so we sealed ours with Polyacrylic. Its water and weather proof! :)

It's made from 2 dog eared fence pickets. Together they are 6ft tall by 11" wide.

If I were to stain the board what's next after that to seal it? also, if I use chalk paint what product to use to seal the chalk paint? I have watch one of the welcome sign you guys did but I couldn't find it to check what product you used. Thank you so much.

Thanks Aika! Use Minwax's Polyacrylic spray. We seal after we paint.

I love your all’s signs!! This will be the 2nd one I’ve made. Have you ever made a 2 sided sign? I was thinking of making the fall one on one side and Christmas on the backside. Just curious as to if it’d work okay. And I need a Cricut. Tell my husband. 😂😂😂

+Melanie Strick We use aerosol spray polyurethane. You can find it in all of the craft stores or home improvement stores.

We used traditional Gorilla Glue

which way does the vinyl go on the mat. Face up or down?

If you're using adhesive vinyl (like I am in this project), its face up. When you're using heat transfer vinyl for something like a t-shirt, its face down and the image is mirrored.

Hi! I tried making the no tool sign and it came a part😥 what tool did you use to make sure it didn’t come apart...

For this fall sign we used first Welcome sign, where we used a Ryobi brad nailer. The one we made without tools we used amzn.to/2PcPy9A Our is still holding tight, we were just moving it around to decorate for Halloween. Did your glue get foamy?

Kim and Garrett make it no ma’am it didn’t get foamy, I used the gorilla glue clear gel so maybe that it. Will definitely try again

Yes, def try again with the Gorilla Glue original, its brown and should definitely foam and expand. Let know how it goes!
