Awesome work! I'm trying to do some research and build a similar unit however i want to used a duel foot pedal system so its hands free. Any suggestions on finding a foot pedal that will connect with these motors.

Got me debating if I wanna go through the hassle of unmounting livescope off the ice shuttle and setting it back up for the kayak. lol

I did it only because I already have my dashboard setup. If not then I would shuttle it over and strap it down to the yak.

Great job. Looks good and great imagination. I heard you had a 15 rpm motor and was look at going down to a 5. Could you not just add a dimmer switch and leave that motor that way you could really dial you motor speed in? Just wondering if that would work?

Yes dimmer is possible.

How did you seal the hole on top (where the arrow will go?) rubber gasket?

I installed a rubber gasket/o-ring later on.

Fantastic job.... you're my cosmic diy brother lol. Have you thought about a relay module or micro switches so that it can sweep side to side (9 o clock to 3 o clock)?

Nice build! I've checked Amazon in the past looking for the plastic indicator arrows without much luck, they don't have a very good selection or maybe I'm not looking in the right location.

I'm going to have one of my sponsors Tacti-Grip print me am arrow. The one I purchased was too small.

Not very often you can't find what you need on Amazon but their selection of plastic indicator arrow leaves a lot to be desired 🙄

Hi can you rotate pole by hand if motor is dead will reductor allow you? Could you check if it is moving and how hard it moves?

No you will not be able to turn it by hand if motor dies.
