Mushrooms are such a HOT trend right now!! I decided they would be a great addition for my booth display and of course my own holiday decor!! Mushrooms add a bit of whimsy and magic to any home decor but especially for the holidays! I'm loving how this batch of Christmas ornaments turned out and I can't wait to create the next batch or ornaments. I'm thinking of adding a dark wax or some glitter to change the look up a bit. I am obsessed with mushrooms. I found a few wooden, mushroom, ornaments at HL I am going to buy those from Amazon so I can make more for my Christmas tree.

Iade so many of those wood mushrooms last winter. I guilded them , in gold, silver, copper, and painted some in red. Huge last Christmas.

Those mushrooms were adorable. I am going to get me some. I’m sorry that you struggle with back pain as I do also and then I get really bad sciatica. It is debilitating and I do have to push myself and sometimes I just can’t. But watching videos and creating helps me to get out of that pain mode or stop thinking about it. Prayers that you can overcome your pain that the Lord Will be merciful and heal you. I’m about 175 miles away from you. I’m near Rockford. I seen that you went on that trip to California and you were on American Airlines. They always have delays and it’s very frustrating. I used to work for them in Dallas Fort Worth. I retired in2019 and moved back home to Illinois. It would break my heart when people were traveling and had to be somewhere at a certain time and they were not able to get there. I’m glad you made it to that IOD reveal , and I forgot the ladies name, the reveal of her beautiful transfers. Looks like you had a great time. Take care God bless.

Cute idea! I just got a mushroom mold on Amazon and could make them double sided by combining two identical molds to get a similar result if others have that or the toad stool mold!

My heart goes out to you with your back I just had back surgery on September 5th I doing better since my surgery but I been dealing with my back for three years so take it slow and make sure you use heat and ice.

I bought those same mushrooms a few weeks ago and haven’t done a thing with them. You gave me some inspiration. Did the mushroom caps need 2 coats of paint? Glad you’re feeling a little better.

Hi Lisa, the DIY paint is very pigmented so some of the mushrooms took only one coat while a few of the other colors took two. 😊
