Hey everyone, it's EJ! About a year ago, my family moved into this house, and the interior walls were mostly painted in a dull brown tone. Honestly, I wasn't a fan, so I've been slowly changing things up with some DIY projects. This time, I tackled a big one: the dining room accent wall. I hesitated because it was such a large-scale project, but I finally decided to go for it.
As a working mom, I had to squeeze in time on the weekends to work on it, which made it a long process. Plus, with 13ft ceilings and my short height, it was quite the challenge! Climbing up that tall ladder had my legs shaking every time. 😅
But the beauty of DIY is that it's budget-friendly, right? 😄 I spent around $250 on this project. And the result? I'm absolutely thrilled! The natural wood tones and the irregular lengths of the slats create a unique and calming atmosphere. I'm sharing some tips I picked up along the way in the video, so be sure to check it out.
If I can do it, you can too! Watch the video and give it a try! If you have any questions, leave a comment. Thank you so much for taking the time to watch my video! 🙏
