I had to watch this a few times to understand, but once I started, it was quite easy. I trimmed six inches off the bottom (I’m rather short), but it turned out beautifully!! Thank you for the pattern and the video!!❤️❤️❤️

Just finished making my own! I used 100% viscose fabric which was a bit tricky but I love how the skirt came out!

@@neetusoy My fabric was 140cm x 3-ish meters, iirc. I would suggest you to first make all the patterns on paper in real size, cut them out and then estimate how much fabric you need 😀

i completed this project and eventhough i made some mistakes im very happy with it! im a beginner so i was kinda scared. i used viscose fabric and did french seams bc i dont have an overlock machine. thank you so much for this video!

Beautiful skirt and lovely music. I don't understand why the hem was hemmed sewing on the right side of the skirt but the open sides of the skirt were done the opposite way, sewing on the wrong side. I would rather see the hem I sew, it was amazing watching you do the long hem blind!

This is M size, add 1cm to the circle for 1 bigger size( 16cm for M, 17cm for L)

You need to multiply your waist size x 3.14 to get the circumference of your waist the add .5 or so for seam allowance for the band thats attached later.

Radius = (waist circumference) divided by ( 2 x 3.14) Formula: circumference = 2пr

@@dilarasharipova9313 No mistake. It’s waist circumference. You will measure 11.78 units from the corner of a triangle fold. When you put the pieces together, they will make a circle with a hole with the diameter of 23.6 units (diameter = radius X 2). That hole should have a circumference of 74 units. This should match your waist circumference.

Did you use two pieces of 1.5*2m fabric? I got one piece of fabric that is 1.5*2m, but seems that's only enough for the back part.

I use 1 piece, that a piece of fabric i bought before, after finishing this skirt i still have some left over, so try it again♥️

There should be 4 total pieces. She cut 2 pieces for the back and 2 pieces with the add on for the fronts. I am not sure why she didn’t just use the entire folded piece for the back but it maybe it makes both the back and front pieces too wide?

Hi, I made this skirt a while back so I can try to help. She first draws the curve using radius of 16cm and then fits her waist measurement divided by 4 on said curve. If you cant fit your waist/4 on the curve then you can just add 1-2cm on the radius, redraw the curve and try fitting your waist/4 on it. Hope this helps!
