I made this bag yesterday. The main area I struggled with was attaching my 9 inch zipper. I've never done a zipper like this and it was trial and error for me. A few tips that might be helpful: If you're using a directional fabric keep that in mind while you are cutting your pattern pieces. Make sure your pattern runs the way you want it to. I added a tab to both ends of my 16 inch zipper because I thought it looked more complete that way. There are multiple ways to box corners. I don't like cutting into my seams personally. Make sure your zippers are facing the same way. For example, when pulled to the left they're both closed, or vice versa. And just try to have fun with it. It's a great pattern with a nice end result

Thank you, this is a brilliant tutorial. It's easy to follow, there's no nonsense and it was relaxing to watch as well. You chose really nice fabric and I find that makes a huge difference to videos I will watch vs the ones I will click off.
