A couple things to note:
- I didn't seal the vinyl because it wasn't needed, however you can definitely seal them.
- The gold paint I used dries super fast (2 seconds!!) Be aware that other brands do not dry that fast and can smudge your finish. If needed, seal paint with sealer.
- Bookmarks should cure hard and not bend. If there is a bend, consider starting again and make sure your 1:1 ratio is as close as possible.

The smaller ones can be really nice for place cards for weddings.. alittle personalised wedding favours the guests can take home with them.

I am a bookaphile and have many bookmarks but these are adorable and I want to buy one each for all my family members, whether book readers or not. Then It occurred to me that something like this would be great christmas tree decorations. With or without names I love the idea. Maybe they already exist. I hope so.

The resin is the seal. No need to do any thing else once it dries

If you mean like seal the gold pen paint then you could use a glossy sealer in a spray can, but I'm not sure how that would look on a clear surface like the transparent parts of the bookmark. I use it on models. There's probably something non-toxic out there though made for sealing objects that are meant to be touched a lot. Or, you could resin over it again I suppose.

I’ve been wondering the same thing. I ordered everything I’ll need to make there and I’ve already poured a few without the lettering. I don’t want to let these out of my door without ensuring that the letters were sealed in. I don’t want letters to curl up on the edges, nor do I want the letters to have a texture on the surface. I plan to apply the letters and then follow up by adding a little resin Clear coat on top. This is a beautiful design, great inspiration, thank you!!

They turned out pretty. Here’s an idea, just before they fully harden, bend them slightly and glue a clip or barrette on the back. They’d make great hair clips

I always seal mine with UV resin. Or, you can use more resin to create a nice seal.

Very nicely done! Please Tell me, how did you actually did the rims so you could also see them from above? Because when you normalul color them, like you showed, you barely see them. And then, at the end, totally different look.

Hi I really like your video and wanted to try some resin projects too. My only worry is about the safety of the whole thing, I noticed you wore gloves and mentioned needing a respirator in the description. These are beautiful! I would also make keyrings out of them, but without the name, unless I could figure out a way to get it inside the resin so it didn't wear off with time.

You could add a thin topcoat of resin on top of the adhesive vinyl letters, and let that dry. This way the vinyl is embedded in the resin and will be protected.
