Howdy Jimmy! This past December, on a trip to Florida from Ohio, I was introduced to the promised land that is Buc-ee's. Everything a gas stop should be! Love all these railroads... so much talent and creativity out there! Being new to the hobby it can be quite intimidating... but love how supportive the community is. Great layouts. Cowpens is both an interesting story to read and a worthwhile place to visit if you’re anywhere nearby. Was a 50 mile detour for me but adjusted my understanding of the terrain, which is key to the American ingenuity involved. Thanks.

I’m currently working on a HO scale 4x8 layout and it’s my first one! It’s no where near being finished (I haven’t even layed the track yet) getting things for it has been a lot harder then I thought but I’m not giving up!

I've still got my 2.5'x4' layout, but we're going to be moving, and in that location I hope to get a view of the layout as it is. I probably won't get much done on it though, as I'll plan on making a new layout. I'll start working on an HO shelf layout around 2-3 walls in the new train room, and then eventually work on a couple Ntrak modules for N scale, modeling a steel mill.

The locomotive shown at 2:16 seems to be an alco century series locomotive, most likely a 6 axle version(can't really tell from the video)

I love in an area that actually have a train museum that is in disrepair and has been for years. The family owed museum refuses to upgrade or do repairs. It would be a remarkable place if kept up and designed for train museum and theme park. Can anything be done?
