Often fault diagnosing involves tedious tasks like scratching around tracks, checking component, boring stuff like that, but If i find something useful to explain like this one then i definitely will!

I think im just going to stick with switchcraft / neutrik. Those jaycar jacks cost 1.80! (switchcraft from mammoth cost 1.80). Thanks for the compliment Petey, look forward to more of your videos also! :D

Yep, the (cheap) jacks were the problem. Switchcraft jacks worked without a hitch!

Are you going to make troubleshooting videos regularly or just when a problem comes up? I'd find it quite interesting, personally.

Hi. Thanks for the videos! I have a problem with grounding. Cant seem to ground the signal to the box. I am using plastic jacks, a 3pdt switch. The box is powdercoated on the inside aswell. A have sanded some of the paint where the switch touches the enclosure. Do you have any advice on what to do? Also when i touch the switch when the effect is plugged into 9v, the noise (slight hiss) goes away. Clearly i am doing something wrong.
