Can therapy help vertical misalignment? Or only prisms?

Vision therapy can sometimes help with certain vertical misalignments. Most often there are other visual-vestibular issues at play that vision therapy does help with.

@@opto-mization thank you! I saw one neuro-opt who said only prisms help. I saw another who said he only uses them as last resort and the first thing he does if remove prisms to start therapy. Very conflicting information! I am doing some therapy for convergence and divergence, hoping that is more so an issue and therapy will help.

@@user-zk8ck3my3l conflicting information is frustrating and unfortunately common. Different docs often have different understandings of the neurological mechanism, and unfortunately many just operate based on ‘what they were told at some point’ rather than a true understanding of what’s happening.

Yes. Vertigo can come from several areas which are all important to check. It can be related to your inner ear, middle ear, vision, and even your neck.
