As a former director within the urban music genre at Arista records during the 1990's, its truly disappointing to hear artist still remain ignorant to the business portion of the the "music business." in 2022. Senior and middle Management would routinely be made aware of both "artistic conflicts" and "non-productive conflicts" occurring within the BadBoy & Laface Offices. But no newsworthy incidents occurred within the Arista New York offices. After recalling this "alleged" incident which would have occurred 27 years ago, it's truly disheartening artist/produces/writers in 2022 continue to succumb to the "TLC" role. So basically as an artist you're getting one big ass check up front and then that's it until you're a few projects in. That's actually not that bad as long as you understand your first check is your only check for a minute and save your money.

@@ksowavy what’s crazy is that you can spend a good amount of money and still look just as good as a rapper. they spending five and six figures on clothes and jewelry is ridiculous and crazy when I can go and spend a whole lot less on different jewelry but it’s still real

You know how some people never stop going to school because the moment they do, they have to pay back student loans? That's basically what this rap shit is.
