Only the Jags would fight over the chicken or the egg question on defense. The answer is that both the defensive line and secondary play off each other because that’s what a TEAM does.

Here's the truth of it. The Jags got them a young special corner in Jalen Ramsey. But Jalen was still extremely cocky and immature. He was 100% a me guy. But he was so good he was almost looked at as a leader because when you're that good you're thrusted into that position. I feel like Jalen Ramsey being so good and so immature is what caused that downfall and why you have the Dline and Corners beefing. I can 100% see Jalen saying "I'm the reason yall getting them sacks" and of course any competitor not gonna go for that. It's really that simple. I can't see it any other way than Jalen being the main guy to cause the toxicity. Obviously he grew up and is a much different person.

another comment says Story came out few years back from one of the local radio guys. Basically Jalen Ramsey, Leonard Fournette, and Telvin Smith were the cancer of the locker room. There was a lot of tension after Blake got signed to big money and those 3 started stirring shit up. It started during the camp and carried over into the season... Calais as the supposed leader, called for all player meeting to try and bring everyone together but those 3 literally told him to go F#$% himself and that was the end of that promising team.

@@Soopologyso. What he said. I won’t say it’s true. We were not there. But I did have experience playing. I played in the SEC 2010-2014. We won’t 4 straight bowl games Anyway, we had a corner (not Stephon Gilmore) that was EXTREMELY talented. At the time, he may have been more talented than Gilmore, who eventually became the first cornerback to win defensive player of the year since 2008 The other corner was just extremely toxic though. It was obvious. And he consistently caused problems with the defensive line. Even started a few fights. He even got into a fight with a d tackle. With five minutes left to go in a freaking bowl game. While we were losing So like I said. Idk jaylen. I wasn’t there. But I can see it. Because I have seen it. There had to be several other factors other than Ramsey, but they don’t say corners and receivers whine all the time for no reason. It’s true. They can be toxic. Especially if they are good and immature. It messes up the team

Nose guard fighting with de ends to keep contain cuz qb was running outside away from him to the extent a fistfight almost happened on the sideline of a game. Dbs holding and suplexing wrs at the jam in practice gahaha. The only reason we stuck together was that we collectively despised the offense more than anything gaha.

Jaguars should of won the superbowl that year but the league didn't want that even ramsey text after the game before the league told him to take down saying that they had give it to the patriots eventually in that game. It suck that team fell apart but im not one bit surprised what was going on behind the scene when you got defense like that young and immature if you dont have nobody check they egos this usually happened that what happened to seahawk legion of boom defense.

Poz was that guy, but he retired after ‘17. That combined with Coughlin’s militant way of doing things was a recipe for disaster. Jalen’s “brinks truck” stunt just labeled him as a spoiled brat.

Alphas are going to beef. That Jags team broke up cause Tom Coughlin didn't want to being in competition to the QB position. He didn't want to bruise Blake Bortles' confidence. Consequently, that didn't sit right with the #1 Alpha, Jalen Ramsey. No coincidence, most of the stars on that team got a chip when they left. Tom let Duval down.
