It was a Land Rover Discovery that inspired the name! I was ~15 at the time I started to DJ.. needed a name.. was in a car behind a Discovery and 💥it was adopted and the reason for the play on words/logo for my slipmat design!

@@ianonamission Discoveries here in the US are *rare rare*, My first (and to this day favorite) car was a D1 Post facelift, 1994. But it was still a Discovery, so no amount of love could change the fact that my feet hung through where the floorpan used to be. Switched to a 1972 series III after that. Much smoother sailing. As for the slipmat, if more exist I gotta get me one of those, spin an old Moving Shadow sampler on it! 🔥
