In this GIG LOG I DJ another wedding and bring the Chauvet Nimbus a Dry Ice Fog Machine perfect for wedding First Dance. At this particular gig I was a bit nervous and overwhelmed by the size of the event and a the amount of work that went into it. Over all this was one of my favorite GIGs this year. It was not an easy one but, the party was fun, the wedding venue was incredible and the DJ setup was amazing.

Hey Barr, i have a nimbus also and what i learned is you need at least 2 15 lb blocks to get the full effect and dont break the pieces up too small or they will dissapate too fast. the bigger pieces help throw that fog out the nimbus and you will get that bigger fuller cloud effect.

Beautiful work setting the scenes for introductions, head table, and dance floor. So many DJS slacking in that area. I like that the dance floor was spotlighted and the rest of the room dark for the first dance. That really accented the cloud effect. To get a longer lasting effect, have the venue turn off the HVAC system during the first dance. That way it doesn't suck the cloud away.

This wedding gig was pretty good. Good job and also you should use a fog machine for the party dancing afterward. And the nimbus comes in all sorts of shapes and has a water heater in it

Great video as always, nice set up Cool party , you guys rocks all the time, Quick tip for Nimbus you should talk to Maître d' of that venue "that party" to shut off AC for at least five minutes then all the smog the clouds stays at the floor instead of be sucked in through the vents, and the next time get the cubes of dry ice not the blocks and then you'll be really happy with the fact and stays really long . But so far everything's great keep it up doing a great job DJ BARR

Not sure if you get them in America, but in Australia we use dry ice pellets, you'll double the size of your cloud. The smaller the pieces of ice you use, the better off you'll be. Keep up the great videos :-)

ProTip: The nimbus has to be on a cart to circle the couple not to fill the room. Clean setup, simple is more! check out light rider app its free this year for air bridge customers so I heard

Ur set up was beautiful much respect on that! I know how hard it is with cable management and ur hard work shows. Ur Latin playlist is very similar to mine on the west coast except more cumbias here. I was thinking about getting a low smoke machine for "Dancing on clouds" effect but I was told by a few wedding planners that it was not a popular thing here in Malta... is this different where you are? 712 are better than 715.. 12 inch drivers with bass bins give a better cross over frequency then 15 inch drivers that cut off at the 800 hz range. most 2 way 15 inch drivers crossover at 1.6 mhz . hf drivers don't really start catching until 2.3 mhz ..
