Ladies and gentlemen, in today's vlog, I aimed to provide you with a more comprehensive view of my experiences as a mobile DJ at events. While I generally prefer to let the music do the talking, there are moments when using the microphone becomes essential to engage the crowd. Additionally, this vlog highlights the importance of adaptability when it comes to the varying formalities of different events. While others may have their unique approaches, this is my personal interpretation of how to handle such situations. I want to express my sincere gratitude for your continued support. Thank you.

love the video like usual, I have a question though... I've got 2 evolve 50s and I agree that for big events it can lack the big thump we all love. What I personally do is pair the 2 evolves with an extra 18" sub and hide it behind my material facade so it can't even be seen. Its awesome I get the awesome look from the white evolves on their own but when I turn it up I get an massive extra kick from the sub. Have you thought about trying this or what's your opinion on it?? yes or no?? Thanks in advance boss!

Thank you. I use to use the evolves with subs quite often. It sounded awesome but was still limited by the height of the array....I started using the traditional style to accommodate for the height.

How's it going my Brother.. Hope you're not having too much Fun..... I like your E.V. speakers you have and the subs. I'm kinda stuck, i need your advice. For the past 27 years I've been using the same 4 speakers with NO subs at all my events. 200-1000 people easy. They are the best speakers in the Universe. But for smaller parties about 100 people they are way too Loud. Any recommendations?? Thank you, May the Force be with you

What made you switch away from the Rane One? 18s are definitley needed in a space like that.
@lavishlifedjs
@lavishlifedjs 11 ай бұрын
Currently on a journey of exploration and self improvement. I felt somewhat stagnated while using serato (which is a solid program because spoiler alert I’m back !)…so I tried out DJay Pro as my main program. While the program is solid, the controllers that are fully supported is sparse and even those that are supported have some short comings. The rane one is fully supported but there were certain functions that didn’t work as expected. The worst part for me were the platters while scratching…the pitch bends and fluctuate making it inaudible. Long story short, that didn’t happen with my SR2 so I started using it. The SR2 was my main controller a few years back so I’m very familiar and I had it already otherwise I wouldn’t recommend buying it just to use with DJay Pro because it isn’t fully supported which meant the audio had to be routed through the iPad with splitters to hear my cue. In my opinion, although Djay Pro is a solid program, it’s just not ready for the big league yet. I think they have to work on controller support and integration. I’ve since returned to serato and my rane one. I’ve gained tremendously from trying out something new and have felt like I’ve expanded my musical library and have more of an appreciation for the tight integration of Dj software to the controller. Now on to trying Virtual Dj :)
@MBrulla
@MBrulla 11 ай бұрын
@@lavishlifedjs I totally understand! I find, for my style, Algoriddm is ceremonies only. It's great for that. For actual events VDJ has been everything I need and more. I think you'll be a convert once you try it. I have yet to find a controller that isn't supported by it, it has all the features that exist in every other software solution with the exception of engine OS and their integration for lighting, and you get it all at once. Virtual DJ has been the best by far out of all the ones I've tried.

@@PapaRay922 Agreed. I have two systems that use the Roland 707M and one that uses the Range One and both of them work flawlessly with Virtual DJ.
