Mixing while surrounded by dangerous saws is EXCITING AND FUN!*
This one turned out great. I pretty much let this 128 bpm mix take me wherever it wanted to take me for a full hour, and the journey was pretty awesome. A few remixed classics, a few obscure tracks, and a few VERY obscure tracks.
Here's the tracklist:
00:00 Intro
00:10 "Enjoy the Ride (Jason Bentley Mix)" by Morcheeba
05:14 "Do It Again (Alex Stein Bootleg)" by The Chemical Brothers
10:44 "Downpipe (Original Club Mix)" by Mark Knight & D. Ramirez vs. Underworld
17:50 "He's Looking at You" by Mahara McKay & Minus 8
21:29 "Cannot Contain This (GusGus Mix)" by Moloko
26:14 "Purely Educational (Elkka Remix)" by Elder Island
31:06 "Halcyon & On (Logic1000 Remix)" by Orbital
35:36 "Little Treasure (Contour 3)" by Booka Shade
40:53 "Far Away from a Distance" by Simian Mobile Disco
46:11 "Miura" by Metro Area
52:03 "The Real House Music (Cliffhanger Mix)" by Darren Price
56:35 "A Huge Ever Growing Pulsating Brain That Rules from the Centre of the Ultraworld (Orbital Dance Mix)" by The Orb
This was shot in my dad's workshop, hence my intro. I was house-sitting for my parents for a full week, so I wanted to take the opportunity to film a mix in a unique location. I took the proper precautions, so don't worry.
If my mixer cam hadn't stopped recording, this would have turned out perfect. I can't wait to refine this setup for my future mixes!
*It is, but don't try this at home. If you do, unplug everything like I did.
