Most musicians biggest obstacle is lack of information. They go into music not understanding that your hobby isn't always suitable as a job. Like most people think being a DJ means you get to go in your bag and show people how refined your taste in music is... When actually being a DJ is being able to play music others will enjoy, and those "others" aren't music connoisseurs they're just basic normies that like what they like.
