I have been in the techno scene since the mid 90’s. This right here my friends is real deal techno and a real deal techno dj. If there is any confusion with the new jacks on what techno is just listen to this. Dj rush is a dj’s dj in a world of knob twirling wanna be models thinking they’re dj’s . This is prolly one of the best tech sets I have heard

I met Rush in the year 2001 ish I think, at a techno party in Kortrijk, Belgium. Took some pics backstage, cracked a couple of beers with him and he gave me an autograph on the back of a picture I took with him a couple of weeks earlier on a techno party in the Silo Leuven, Belgium. To this day, that pic has been sitting in my living room as a throwback to remember how good those days were. I'm almost 42 now, and still love this guy! He's just the sweetest guy really, really took some time to meet up with his fans back in the days. Great guy overall!

Makes me remember the first time I saw Rush live, when he came on I could only see this massive silhouette behind a cloud of vapor, which then continued to absolutely torch the place. If you get the chance to see him live go for it, nothing like it.

Back in the day when he played 150bpm high energy techno, there used to be a ring of people sat all the way around the edge of the dancefloor because he was too hard. Now that he has toned down the speed of his sets, he seems to have really found himself. It's been years since I last saw him. Outstanding set.

DJ Rush and Dax J overshadowed absolutely everyone who played at Awakenings, except Perc really. The massive energy in all 3 of their sets was absolutely mindblowing! 🖤🖤🖤 And massive kudos to him for still sticking with those Beats headphones after all this time. He's used Technics, Pioneer and even Sony headphones over the years, but these seem to be his favourite. I mean his set just cannot be the standard Beats by Dr Dre that anyone can buy - these must have been specially modified just for him? Right? Surely?

They’re Beats Pro (designed for DJs), which were released a while back before Apple took over Beats - if I remember correctly. They’re discontinued now.

Thank You Awakenings Production Team for posting this historical "Legendary" set on the internet cloud. "God Like" masterpiece by DJ Rush and again this set should be used to train upcoming newer musicians. Standing ovation and throwing a remastered bomb tune at the end just defines the musical genius of DJ Rush and bowing to his fans at the end just humbled me. Thank you for putting this live stream "Masterpiece" on the cloud, that was sent to me as a private link as Easter 2022, for the whole world to see.

Exactly, that was one of my observations after ~ 10 minutes in the set. I'm pretty sure the crowd has mature ravers not just a bunch of kids who only care about likes.
