This is real DJing. No computers aids, no laptop controller software and do-overs. You get one shot, that's it! And don't accidentally hit that needle; that ain't no USB stick. This is what REALLY takes practice, knowing your record collection and in which milk crate each record resides. Nice Disco dance set. 🎊🎉🕺

Yeah and you can lug around 40 pound crates of Old Records and when someome makes a request for a songs look through them while you lose the dance floor. Have fun

Real DJing isn’t the equipment. It’s how play the music to make people have fun, create memories and just loose themselves. I’ve played both turntables and I use controllers now. And let me tell you carrying around my external hard drive is better than lugging crates!!!😊👊🏽🤟🏽

Love this mix!! I literally listen to it 2-3 times a week. I work graveyard and when my co-worker and I come back from our 1:00am lunch. These are my go to tunes. Gives us the burst of energy we need! 🤩 🙌 GO DODGERS 💙🤍⚾️

THIS A REAL!!!! DJ!!!!! I remember back in the 80s a friend of the family was a DJ. I could stare at him FOR HOURS mixing! So much respect for you for queuing that needle in the right place and quickly taking off a record, looking for a record, and putting on the record! This is a DJ! ❤❤❤❤

I actually find it so much easier to mix with vinyl and to find the spots in the record by reading and getting to know the groove patterns in the songs.

@@pdiseris Yes!!!! Like I mentioned this is a real DJ! To me it just seems to take skill and the idea that you guys and just find the right spot in both songs to blend them amazed me even more! I dont know how to explain it, but it makes me even more excited to dance, especially to old school!! How long have you been a DJ?

Great mix. The classic style, is what we used to do back in those great years, not unnecessary button touching, just choosing great music in accordance with the moment/night and focusing on doing making great transitions while managing the light set to match that magic moment.

No i don't, i clearly remember that mix from back in the 80's when i DJ'ed in clubs. Use to hear it on 98.7 kiss NYC on friday nights, A lot of my promo Vinyls i got from the radio station 98.7 kiss.

Like how I use to do back in the. Nice clean blends to keep the people dancing until the club closes. About a hour straight and then throw in one or two slow jams. After that, back to the funk.

Funk and disco is very much alive my good sir. You may find some some interest in a modern version called Future Funk. It's back bone is rooted in Funk, disco, city pop, and French House.

Thank you for posting this. I was a DJ in the 90s -techno, trip hop, trance, house, Progressive house, drumandbass, and.. disco(it was amazing and wild to hear a disco song at a set drop! I also spun at a 70s disco club 95-97). We didn't have cameras on our phones back then and I have no video of my self mixing. Watching you is like watching myself so thanks for the Memories if that makes sense.
