I recommend against using a 1/8" stereo to dual XLR breakout cable for connecting to consumer electronics. These cables can and WILL pass phantom power +48 V DC directly into the audio port of your electronics and fry it, if, indeed, you have phantom power active on the mixer. I have the exact cable shown and have replaced both of mine with 1/8" stereo to dual TR, TS 1/4" cables. I have five of them amongst my different setups and there is no phantom power transmitted to the 1/8" stereo TRS plug even if it's active on the mixer. Be sure to confirm yours with a with a voltmeter but do so very carefully and taking special care not to short any exposed leads from the voltmeter but of the three or four different mixers and interfaces I use, there is no phantom power on the 1/4" jacks. Last night I was at a gig for a school dance. I had everything plugged in and ready to go. I ran all of my power into one cable and went to plug that cable in. There was an outlet conveniently placed behind me where I set up so I decided to plug it in there. I went back and turned everything on and there was nothing. I went back and tried the next plug and nothing. I had a backup cable and tried that too and nothing. Now what? Bad cables, bad power strip, fried wires? After checking everything over twice it ended up being that the outlet was not turned on. I found that out after I was done since I used one around the corner (thank god for that backup cable).

i always plug my setup into power strips with breakers so i dont need to find the main one
