Also Pole was a Rhodes scholar candidate and was in medical school at Columbia when he got back into coaching a decade ago. He’s brilliant and will out shine Calipari and of course Kentucky is 10 times the program of Arkansas so that’ll take care of itself. Pope is like a Brad Stevens and Cal is a washed up coach who can’t floor coach and has offensive system like it’s 1985. Arkansas is gonna learn the hard way.

Okay let’s be honest…. The coach wasn’t on the floor playing. As a basketball player in the position DJ was in…. You need to be a leader. It’s not like he doesn’t have skills.. First of all DJ is a ball hog and he can’t finish and really doesn’t shoot well. He’s a typical Calipari athlete who has little skill. Kentucky is in much better shape because they now have a better coach not just a recruiter. Kids are going to want to play in Popes system and Calipari doesn’t have the bang he did years ago because Arkansas isn’t a big draw. They are doing this for PR reasons and it’ll sell tickets. It’ll get them a few NBA players before cal is gone. Calipari is going to play his freshman over any Transfers and if he was going to change he would have done that at Kentucky. He was miserable during his press conference and he tried to back out of the Arkansas move. He leveraged his power against the boosters because he didn’t think UK would replace him. It allowed for the clause in the buyout and Kentucky ditched his ass Arkansas is in for a rude awakening the guy can’t coach and the second Arkansas questions them he’ll tank the seasons. DJ isn’t a fraction of the player his dad was! Cal started him over two better players all season hoping he would get it! He was a shooting guard that couldn’t really shoot, but wanted to play point guard and wasn’t a point guard! He missed enough layups that his average could have been 17-18 a game.
